Music is in my blood.
My late uncle was Donald "Duck" Dunn, the legendary Stax Records bassist behind Booker T. & the M.G.'s and many of the records that shaped American music. Growing up in Memphis, with that lineage, picking up bass was never really a question; it was a calling. I studied jazz at the University of Memphis before leaving to pursue music full-time, and I've been fortunate to study under players like Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey, Sean Hurley, Ian King, and Neal Bowen along the way.
Since 2014, I've toured the world, from small clubs to festivals and arenas, and have done session work from Memphis to Nashville, Los Angeles, NYC, and as far as Scotland. Records I've played bass on have crossed 400 million streams across platforms, and as a songwriter, I've charted as high as #13 on the Hot AC charts.
These days I'm based in Oklahoma City, putting down roots with my wife and dogs. Whether it's a session, a tour, a co-write, or just a conversation about music, I'd love to connect. Outside of music, I am passionate about sharing my recovery journey as well as traveling, hiking, and lifting weights.
